# Filters and coverage

Source: [Official documentation](<https://newlistings.pro/docs/v2/filter-values>)

Set filters in the connection URL. They are fixed when you connect. Different parameters use AND. `exchange`, `data_type`, `market_type`, and `category` accept comma-separated values with OR; `username` accepts one handle.

| Filter | Full | Fast |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `exchange` | Matches `parser.exchange` | Matches top-level `exchange` |
| `data_type` | `announcement`, `tweet` | `announcement`, `tweet` |
| `market_type` | Matches `parser.classification.type`; values below | Not supported |
| `category` | `crypto` (default), `rwa`, or both; matches `parser.classification.category` | Not supported |
| [`username`](<https://newlistings.pro/docs/v2/filter-values#x-accounts>) | One exact X username; case-insensitive | One exact X username; case-insensitive |

Exchange, data-type, market-type, and category values are trimmed and case-insensitive, and each one matches in full. For example, `market_type=alpha` does not include `alpha-live`. List every value you want. Both endpoints accept up to 32 exchanges. The query is limited to 1,024 bytes, and each exchange value and the username to 64 bytes.

## Exchange coverage

Listings, Delistings and Cautions show Full's parsed market types. Read `parser.classification.event` to distinguish them. Fast has no market-type classification.

### Listings

| Exchange | `market_type` |
| --- | --- |
| `aevo` | `pre-market` |
| `asterdex` | `spot`, `futures` |
| `binance` | `spot`, `futures`, `alpha`, `alpha-live`, `launchpool`, `hodler_airdrop`, `megadrop`, `pre-market` |
| `bingx` | `spot`, `futures`, `pre-market` |
| `bitget` | `spot`, `futures`, `pre-market`, `launchpool` |
| `bithumb` | `spot` |
| `bitstamp` | `spot` (USD pairs only) |
| `bybit` | `spot`, `futures`, `alpha`, `launchpad`, `launchpool`, `web3ido`, `pre-market`, `soon-spot` |
| `coinbase` | `spot`, `roadmap` |
| `coinbaseinternational` | `futures` |
| `coinex` | `spot`, `futures` |
| `coinone` | `spot` |
| `cryptocom` | `spot` |
| `gate` | `spot`, `futures`, `alpha`, `pre-market` |

| `okx` | `spot`, `futures`, `pre-market`, `jumpstart` |
| `robinhood` | `spot`, `assets` |
| `upbit` | `spot` |

`assets` identifies Robinhood asset-catalog discoveries. `roadmap` and `soon-spot` identify advance notices. These do not confirm that trading has started.

### Delistings

See [Caution notices](<https://newlistings.pro/docs/v2/filter-values#caution-notices>).

### Announcements

Use `data_type=announcement` on either endpoint for these exchanges. Full classifies matching notices; other notices have `parser.classification.event: "none"`. Fast sends raw events.

| Exchange | Full parsing |
| --- | --- |
| `asterdex` | Available |

### X accounts

Full and Fast both forward posts from these accounts. Set `username` to the handle without `@`.

| X account (`username`) | Exchange (`exchange`) |
| --- | --- |
| `aevoxyz` | `aevo` |
| `aster_dex` | `asterdex` |
| `binance` | `binance` |
| `binancewallet` | `binance` |
| `bybitplus` | `bybit` |
| `coinbasemarkets` | `coinbase` or `coinbaseinternational` |
| `coinoneofficial` | `coinone` |
| `gate_io` | `gate` |
| `htx_global` | `htx` |
| `huobiglobal` | `htx` |
| `hyperliquidx` | `hyperliquid` |

| `krakenlistings` | `kraken` |
| `kucoincom` | `kucoin` |
| `lighter_xyz` | `lighter` |
| `okx` | `okx` |

`coinbasemarkets` posts about perpetual futures use `exchange=coinbaseinternational`; other posts use `exchange=coinbase`.

## Binance Alpha statuses

Alpha Featured and Alpha Live are separate notices. A feature notice can arrive days before trading opens:

| Notice | `parser.classification.type` | Meaning | `parser.display` wording |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Alpha Featured | `alpha` | Binance announces the token for Binance Alpha. Trading may not have started. | `featured on Binance Alpha` |
| Alpha Live | `alpha-live` | The token is added to Binance Alpha 2.0 and is live there. | `live on Binance Alpha 2.0` |

Both use `parser.classification.event: "listing"`. An Alpha Live notice for the same token can arrive before or after the feature notice.

Every `alpha-live` asset carries `is_scheduled`. It is `true` when the token is listed on Alpha 2.0 through a scheduled, previously announced event (such as a Binance Wallet TGE, airdrop, etc), and `false` for a fresh, surprise listing.

To receive both on Full, use `exchange=binance&market_type=alpha,alpha-live`. Use either market type alone to select one notice type.

## Caution notices

Upbit, Bithumb and Binance flag risky assets with caution notices. Each caution event carries the affected assets and one action:

| Notice | `parser.classification.type` | Meaning | `parser.display` wording |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Caution designated | `designated` | The asset is put under caution. On Binance, the Monitoring Tag is added. | `designated for caution` |
| Caution extended | `extended` | The caution period is extended. Upbit and Bithumb only. | `caution extended` |
| Caution lifted | `lifted` | The caution ends. On Binance, the Monitoring Tag is removed. | `caution lifted` |
| Caution warning | `warning` | The exchange urges caution on the asset without designating it. Upbit and Bithumb only. | `caution warning` |

All four use `parser.classification.event: "caution"` and `category: "crypto"`. A notice that designates some assets and lifts others sends one event per action, both with the same `url`.

To receive only cautions on Full or in history, use `market_type=designated,extended,lifted,warning`.

### Caution designated

```json
{
  "id": 3667883215489431,
  "type": "announcement",
  "url": "https://upbit.com/service_center/notice?id=1451240977",
  },
    },
    "assets": [
        "contracts": []
      }
    ]
  },
  "detected_time_us": 1790958601313993,
  "sent_time_us": 1790958601316191
}
```

## Data types and usernames

`data_type` matches the top-level `type` field. Omit it to receive both announcements and posts.

| `data_type` | Messages |
| --- | --- |
| `announcement` | Exchange notices and API detections |
| `tweet` | Exchange posts |

A username filter selects posts only. It cannot be combined with `data_type=announcement`.

```text
wss://tokyo.newlistings.pro/v2/full?data_type=tweet&username=BinanceWallet
wss://tokyo.newlistings.pro/v2/fast?data_type=tweet&username=BinanceWallet
```

## Combine filters

Upbit spot announcements:

```text
wss://tokyo.newlistings.pro/v2/full?exchange=upbit&data_type=announcement&market_type=spot
```

Each event must match all three filters. Use `market_type=spot,futures` to accept either market type. Unclassified events do not match a market-type filter.

Every connection also has a category. Without `category`, Full delivers crypto listings, delistings and cautions plus every event that carries no category, such as tweets and unclassified announcements. Add `category=rwa` for real-world-asset markets only, or `category=crypto,rwa` for both.

Unknown exchange, market-type, or username values match no events. Empty values, repeated parameters, unknown parameter names, invalid data types and contradictory filters return `400 INVALID_REQUEST`; Full also rejects malformed percent escapes.
